Add parts color to drawing views
It would be extremely nice to have shaded parts on 2D drawings, particularly assemblies and exploded views for ease of reading and illustration purposes.
Available in Alibre Design 2012
(Solid Hatch with Color – can be applied to projected views or sketches)

It would be nice for this to be automatically generated like solidworks/inventor rather that forcing the user to select borders manually.

It would be nice that Boolean part retain the parts color. This would help in debugging a Boolean part

I would also like to see the part edge colours to mach the colour of the 3D solid body. I have customers that are not impressed with a die design drawing that is all black and no colour to define the separate blocks (I am not going to pick every edge and change them manually, way to time consuming)

For me it is very important and necessary element. The good shaded view is essential in modern times - see all the other programs cad.
Price / performance - the program is good or very good, but I will wait with purchasing until there are shaded views. -

Shaded view in drawing is a frequent request from our customers.
In the same category : wireframe view with geometry using part color instead of layer color
Also :being able to dynamicaly rotate a shaded view (like in part workspace). Also this can be done by creating a custom view in part, dynamic rotation in drawing would be much better. -
