        I'm trying to create something that isn't "box" shaped, and it's nearly impossible. Custom shapes are just not feasible with the current (2012) sheet metal module. Wouldn't it be easier to start with flat sheet - just like reality? Maybe the sheet always starts in the XY plane, with a sketch above and/or below used as a "press brake." Or even use an interactive "brake form" that allows you to interactively rotate the brake around the line you draw on the sheet.
