Easy moving of a sketch (and associated feature if applicable) to another plane (in part mode). The need to erase and redraw wrong positionned sketches could be avoided allowing some timesaving along the design process.

Project to Sketch enhancements:
Project silhouettes. Project Sketches to Sketch. Project 3D Sections with option to maintain associativity. Parametrically Project/Offset Figure to Sketch.

Incude an automatic weld feature to generate welds. Solidworks has this feature. A lot of equipment is produced from weldments. This would especially be beneficial for accurate FEA stress analysis. Now, I have to physically draw every weld now and assemble it into the model while leaving one to 3 thousandths space between welded parts to accurately model a structure.

Move Parts to/from top level Assembly to Sub-Assembly. Break up Sub-Assembly. Group top level Parts into Sub-Assembly. etc.

Currently in the Explorer, a conflicted set of constraints are shown italicized. This is very hard to see. Would be much better if they were shown RED or BOLD Capitalized.

It would be extremely useful to have a utility whereby simple solid models of spur gears, helical gears or bevel gears can be generated given basic geometric parameters.

When designing it is often needed to use the dimensions of other parts as a reference. This is availbale in other softwares like Inventor, SW,.. and it makes it possible to drive a complete assembly.

Alibre motion needs to have a collision detectection feature where a part in motion is arrested wehn it contacts another part. This feature should also be able to take into account a part in motion being acted upon by a return spring and being acted upon or acting upon a camming feature.

The ability to sketch a line on a face of a sheet metal part then add a bend feature to bend the part to a specific angle

The ability to Extrude, Sweep, Fillet, or Chamfer from one geometry (Solid or Reference Plane etc.) to another - the position of the defining Sketch (in the case of Extrude & Sweep) being at any point .

The usabilty of Alibre in some dialogs is ugly uncomfortable, i.e. context menue or equation editor.
a.) equation editor
- a double click into a line should open the editor to alter a value of the parameter
- a change of the parameter's name should automatically alter all the references of this parameter- after changing a parameters value, the focus should be on the OK-Button in order to close the dialog with another <Return>

b.) context menue
the Hotkeys in the context-menue should be made unique, until now (V11.2) they are not.

It would be nice to have a possibility to get physical properties (mass, volume, area, ...) of a part or assambly in the "Design Property Values" in 2D-drawings.

Furthermore the Design Properties material-information in the "Part-Data"-Tab should be automaticaly set to that from the "material"-Tab, so there is no need to set it twice.

An imported Assembly STEP file is unconstrained and it is necessary to Anchor all the Parts and Sub-assemblies to stop them moving while you work on the model. This is a tedious process when there are many Parts and Sub-assemblies. It would be great to be able to "Anchor All" and "Anchor Selected" rather than Anchor individual Parts and Sub-assemblies. This would also be handy for “Hide”, “Suppress”, ”Show Reference Geometry”, Delete”, and “Make Flexible”.

In SolidWorks or other CAD systems, when you open a drawing from a part/sheetmetal document, the name of the drawing is automatically created with the same name of the part. In Alibre, you need to enter a new name in order to save the drawing. It is better to have the same name with the part as in other CAD systems and then there is no need to enter a new name to the drawing.
